This Privacy Policy applies to all services operated at aihumanpost.com, including AI Humanizer, PDF Tools, Extract Data, File Recovery, and Breach Checker (collectively "the Services").
2. Data We Collect
We are committed to data minimization. Here is exactly what we collect, tool by tool:
2.1 AI Humanizer
The text you submit is sent to the DeepSeek API for processing only. We do not store your input or output text permanently. Text is held in memory during processing and discarded immediately after the response is returned to you.
2.2 PDF Tools
Files you upload are processed in RAM and temporary storage (/tmp) only. All uploaded files and generated output are automatically deleted within 3 minutes of processing completion. We do not store, back up, or retain your files.
2.3 Extract Data
Logged-in users: Extracted data is saved in your account history for up to 90 days so you can access past extractions. Original uploaded files are NOT stored — only the extracted structured data.
If you select the "delete after download" option, your extracted data is deleted immediately upon download and is never retained in your history.
2.4 File Recovery
Files uploaded for password recovery are processed in memory only. Password recovery tokens expire immediately after use. We do not store your files, recovered passwords, or recovery tokens.
2.5 Breach Checker
Your email address is checked against the HaveIBeenPwned API using the k-anonymity model — only the first 5 characters of your hashed email are sent to the API. The full email never leaves our server.
Passwords are NEVER stored and NEVER transmitted. All password checks are performed locally in your browser using the same k-anonymity model. We never see, receive, or log the passwords you check.
2.6 Premium Accounts
When you create a Premium account, we store:
- Your email address (for login and account recovery)
- A bcrypt-hashed password (never stored in plain text)
Payments are processed entirely by PayPal. We never see, receive, or store your credit card details, bank account information, or payment method data.
3. Cookies & Analytics
We use essential cookies for account authentication, session management, and service rate limits. With your explicit consent (via our cookie banner), we use Google Analytics (with anonymized IP addresses) and Google Ads conversion tracking to understand how our service is used and improve it. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser data or using your browser's privacy settings.

4. Third-Party Processors
We use the following third-party services to provide our AI features:
- DeepSeek API: Text you submit to AI Humanizer and Extract Data tools is transmitted to DeepSeek for AI processing. DeepSeek servers may be located outside the European Union (e.g., China). By using our AI features, you consent to this international data transfer. DeepSeek does not use your data to train their models per their data processing terms.
- PayPal: Payment processing for Premium subscriptions. PayPal handles all financial data; we never see or store your payment details.
- Hetzner: Provides server hosting. All our servers are located in the EU (Germany).
5. GDPR Rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:
- Right of Access — request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
- Right to Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data
- Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten") — request deletion of your personal data
- Right to Restriction — restrict the processing of your personal data
- Right to Data Portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format
- Right to Object — object to the processing of your personal data
- Right to Complain — lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your EU member state

6. Server Logs & Rate Limiting
To prevent abuse and enforce free tier limits (5 generations/day, 3 extractions/day), we temporarily log IP addresses. These logs are used exclusively for security and rate limiting purposes, are not linked to personal data beyond the current session, and are routinely cleared.
7. Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data on the following legal bases:
- Consent — when you use our tools, you consent to the processing described above
- Contractual necessity — when you create a Premium account, processing is necessary to provide the service
- Legitimate interest — maintaining the security and functionality of our servers (hosting)
8. Data Retention
- AI Humanizer: Generated text is not stored permanently. Free tier limits are tracked via localStorage in your browser (not on our servers).
- PDF Tools: Uploaded files are processed in memory and deleted within 3 minutes after processing completes.
- Extract Data: Extracted data and document history is stored for up to 90 days. You can delete your data at any time through the application.
- File Recovery: Recovery history (filenames and associated email) is retained for 30 days, then automatically deleted.
- Breach Checker: No data retained
- Premium Accounts: Email + hashed password retained until account deletion
9. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including TLS encryption in transit, bcrypt password hashing, and automatic file deletion schedules. Our servers are hosted with Hetzner in EU data centers.
10. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will notify Premium users via email.
